Job Description:

Role: Safety Coordinator
Client: Large technology client
Location: Fully onsite 5x a week in Leesburg, VA
Duration: 3 month contract *potential to extend but 3 months to start
Preferred Qualifications

• 2 yrs of experience in data center operations or related fields
• Extensive training in safety and protocols for data center environments
• Ability to monitor and manage multiple vendors with different scopes of work.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Proactive and accountable attitude
• Osha Certification

Responsibilities

• Always ensure the safety and security of the data center and its equipment.
• Prevent and report any incidents or issues that may affect data center operations.
• Coordinate and supervise the vendors who provide services to the data center.
• Measure and evaluate the performance of the vendors and provide feedback.
• Write daily and weekly reports on the data center activities and outcomes.
• Act as Escalation Point of Contact within the data center
• Take a Proactive approach vs reactive
